# Addons

You have the option to create 3 types of addons:

- an addon that corresponds to a special box (for the first month of their subscription), then the subscription continues with the plan in question.
- an addon that corresponds to a complementary product pushed in the purchase funnel once the subscriber has chosen a plan
- an addon that corresponds to an additional product as part of customizable plans

Go to **Subscriptions > Addons / Upsell**. The **Offer type** field sets which of the three cases applies: **Addon**, **Upsell** or **Upsell Customization**.

### I create a special box (Addon)

1. Click the create button.

2. Enter a name and link the addon to a plan (**Plan** field).

3. Enter a title, descriptive text, and upload a photo.

4. Set a period during which the addon is available (**Start Date** and **Expiration Date**).

5. In the **Price Influence** field, enter the additional cost of your special box compared to the usual price of the box for the plan in question, specifying whether or not you are subject to VAT.

### I create an addon offered in the purchase funnel (Upsell)

1. Here too, specify which plan the addon is linked to.

2. Enter a title, descriptive text, and upload a photo.

3. Define the period during which the addon is offered (**Start Date** and **Expiration Date**).

4. By checking the **Applies to each billing** box, the addon will be included with each new order of the subscription.

5. By checking the **Extra delivery** box, a separate shipping slip is created for the addon, scheduled for the day after the order. Its identifier is the subscription slip identifier followed by `EXTRA` (format `ship_xxxEXTRA`).

6. Enter the price for this product (**Price Influence**) and the **Tax**.

You have the option to enable stock management for your addons by filling in the Quantity field in your addon settings.

### I create an addon offered as an additional product for a customizable plan (upsellcustomization)

This type of addon allows you to offer products as additional sales linked to [customizable plans](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/abonnements/creer-une-box-personnalisee/) where subscribers compose their own package by selecting the products of their choice.
