## Enable maintenance mode

1. Open **Settings > Sites**, then click the pencil icon (edit) on the row of the site you want to put in maintenance mode.

2. In the **Basic Configuration** tab, find the **Online** box.

3. Uncheck this box to switch to offline mode.

4. Click **Update**.

## Be ignored by maintenance mode

The IP address to ignore in maintenance mode cannot be changed from your back office: this setting is reserved for the Ciklik team.

The IP is essentially your computer’s address. It is a series of numbers in this format: 123.12.123.123. To obtain it, you can go to [monip.org](https://monip.org).

Send it to <support@ciklik.co> to keep viewing the changes made to your site without it being online.
