Create your business listing on Google My Business

You have the possibility to create a business listing at no cost and without having a physical address to encourage browsers who find you from the Google search engine to become a customer

Fill in your listing with the essential information of your activity and the strong points of your company.

You can also customize your listing with photos, offers and posts. Your business listing complements your current website by giving it more visibility in Google search.

You can use the app Google My Business to manage your listing, but it's not required. You can also do it directly in Google search or by logging into the Google My Business website.

How do I create my listing?

Create a Google my business account

Log in to Google My Business on your computer.
Sign in to your Google account or create one. Then click Next.
Sign up with an email address that belongs to your school's domain. Enter your school's name.
Enter the address of your location or chain. Then click Next.
Choose how your business will appear on Google Maps. If you do not have customers at your location : At the bottom of the screen, click on I provide goods and services to my customers, then click Next.
Search for and select an activity category. Then click Next.
Enter a phone number or website URL and click Cease.
Select a validation option.

Validate your facility

You can validate your school by email or by phone.

An instant validation method is also available if you have added your site to the Google Search Console.

To perform an instant validation, make sure you are logged into Google My Business with the same email address you used to validate your site in Search Console.
