Dashboard and KPI
Dashboard and KPI
Definition of KPIs
KPI stands for Key Performance Indicators. These are the key indicators to monitor the performance of your subscription box business.
These indicators are grouped in a dashboard to facilitate analysis and synthesis.
Dashboard
By clicking on the Ciklik icon at the top left of the administration panel, you access the dashboard for your site.
These data are :
Updated every hour
Tracked on time steps in days
You can also access data :
Tracked on a time step of 6, 9 or 12 months.
Updated every 24 hours.
You will find the following indicators:
Active and expired subscriptions
These are subscriptions for which the renewal has not been successful following several attempts at collection and where the order is therefore closed for non-payment.
When renewing a subscription, up to 4 attempts are made to collect the money. If the 4th attempt fails, the order is closed: the subscription remains active but has expired.
It is interesting to identify subscriptions in this situation to invite subscribers to update their bank details for example.
You can find them in the subscription list with the active AND expired filters.
Live subscriptions
Corresponds to active and paid subscriptions, whose expiration date is greater than the moment T (new subscribers, monthly subscriptions successfully renewed, long subscriptions still valid).
Shipments
Number of shipments generated per month.
Does not correspond to the number of delivery notes exported for the box of a given month, this export corresponding to a period straddling 2 months.
Distribution of formulas
Distribution of active subscriptions according to the type of formula (monthly formula, long subscriptions).
Active subscriptions include paused subscriptions (next debit date shifted by X months) and expired subscriptions (the last order at the time of renewal of the subscription is closed for unpaid).
KPI
Unfold the KPI section in the left column.
It is divided into several segments to analyze the sales made and the revenue generated by type of marketing action.
Subscriptions tab
New subscriptions
Equal to the number of new subscriptions generated over a time step of X days.
CA Renewals
Equal to the business volume generated during the renewal of subscriptions.
Renewed subscriptions
The number of times subscribers used the repeat button for their subscription, after cancelling.
Also includes retries after a trial cancellation.
Cancelled subscriptions
Number of times subscribers have cancelled their subscription.
Also included are "test" cancellations with a subsequent renewal of the subscription.
Not counted are subscribers who have paused their subscription (grace period activated, and where the subscription is still active).
New subscribers per month
Number of new subscriptions generated each month (acquisition of new subscribers per month).
Does not correspond to the number of new subscribers for the box in a given month (these are calculated over a period straddling 2 months).

- Acquisition campaign read more
- Abandoned Cart Returns** read more
- Referral Program** read more
Also find the New users, equal to the number of new user accounts created during the given period.
These are visitors who have created an account by entering their email and a password. This does not mean that they have placed an order on the site and subscribed.
Churn tab
This tab will allow you to analyze the effectiveness of the reminder campaigns and features activities on your site to limit churn.
- Number of failed orders recovered and paid via a payment link, and associated sales figures
- Anti-churn campaigns read more
- Number of orders fulfilled through the churn discount offer AND a pause period read more
- Number of orders fulfilled through reactivation campaign read more
- Number of credit cards updated
Cohort Tab
Abscissa: month
Ordinates: box number (a new subscriber receives box 1)
The number of packages (delivery notes) each month is shown.
If a subscriber has 2 subscriptions, only one package is counted.
Objective: To study the evolution of the number of boxes sent and their distribution each month and to cross this analysis with the marketing actions carried out to see their impact (acquisition and retention).
Example:
In June 2019, we counted 2200 new subscribers
In July 2019, there are still 1320 subscribers from the previous month's 2200 and have been acquired 1404 new subscribers who will receive box 1.
Revenues

Monthly turnover
Equal to Turnover each month (takes into account past repayments).
