First steps

First steps

Access to your Ciklik account

Log in to your Ciklik account with your login and password via the link below:

https://app.ciklik.co/login

If you are several people who need to access the site, you can add an administrator to your site.

We recommend you to activate the double authentication to access your Ciklik account in order to protect your data.

To do so, install google authentificator on your smartphone and open the application on your smartphone.
Login to your Ciklik account and select two-factor authentication at the bottom of the left column, then click to generate a QR code.
Read this QR code with your smartphone.

The double authentication code available in your Google authentificator application will be asked to log in to your Ciklik account or if your session expires.

Configuration of your professional email

If you don't have a mail service associated to your domain, a fictitious email address has been created at the installation of your site (contact@yourdomainname, for example, contact@winebox.com where winebox.com is the domain name) which will send emails to the email address you provided when you created your account. However, this address does not allow you to send emails.

Otherwise, if you have a professional mailbox, think of repatriating your mail servers, as explained in the article below:
configure my mail servers

To ensure the good deliverability of automatic transactional emails and the fact that they are not considered as spam in the mailboxes of your customers, you must enter an email address attached to your domain in the fields "Your contact email" and "Email support" in the "Basic configuration" tab of your site (when you click on My sites, then on Edit).
Example: contact@winebox.com

Access to your invoices

The ciklik invoices for your monthly subscription to the ciklik application are edited each month on the anniversary date of your subscription to the solution.
You can find them and export them from the Settings > My account > My invoices section in the left column.

Creation of your site

Step 1 : Creation of the home page

Go through the visuals checklist (images and icons) that you will need to customize your site and put them together on your computer desktop so that you have all your visuals at hand.

Then, you can access the visual editor to customize your site's home page :

from your Ciklik account, in the left column, click on Content then on Pages.
at the funnel symbol on the top right, open the filter and check the Main pages box, to see more easily the line corresponding to your home page.
Click on the small pencil (edit) in front of your homepage and open the visual editor.

[Take over the visual editor to customize your site (/docs/create-website/create-page-visual-editor)

Now it's your turn!

You want to respect your graphic charter, no worries ! You can customize your website by following our advice in the tutorial Customize your website design.

Step 2: Customize Menus

You can customize the entries of your navigation content as well as your footer from the Content > Menus section in the left column.

Then click on the little eye to enter the menu of your choice.
Once in the menu, you will be able to add or modify the entries.

Refer to the following article to know the structure of the url on your site:
Management of urls

By clicking on the small pencil in front of the menus, you can rename them (column headers in the footer of your site).

Step 3 : Creation of formulas

Go to the step of creating your formulas. We recommend that you do not create too many different formulas at the beginning.

Follow our advice in the tutorial Create a formula.

If you feel that a parameter generates a range of rates in your business, you can create categories or groups of packages.

As a reminder, in the box, you don't do daily shipments, and here is the current schema:

Pick up day: 1st day of the month
This day corresponds to the last day to receive the box of the month M. This means that generally, the shipments are made on the 11th or 12th, and the customers receive their packages around the 15th.
During the month M, from the 11th, the new subscribers pay for the box M+1, and are not collected at M+1 but at the 1st of M+2 (since they have already paid the box M+1, after the 11th of the month M).

If a person subscribes between the 11th of month M-1, and the 10th of month M, he/she receives the box of month M.
If a person subscribes between the 11th of month M, and the 10th of month M+1, he/she receives the box of month M+1.

Step 4 : Creation of the carriers

Be sure to set up your carriers so that your future subscribers can choose their delivery method.

Find out how to set up your delivery methods.

Step 5 : Creation of profile questions

Once your future subscriber has chosen their plan, they can answer questions related to their profile.

These questions are not mandatory in the purchase tunnel but we advise you, at the order taking stage, to ask them 2 to 4 questions, to personalize their journey and give you flexibility in the composition of the packages.

These questions allow you to define their preferences. They do not influence the price of your packages. But they have a strong impact on the conversion. Moreover, the data collected through these questions will allow you to negotiate with product suppliers (volume management, setting up personalized kits according to profiles in the boxes, etc.).

The formulation of your questions and answers must be concise. Here are the possible question formats: set up profile questions

If you decide to include these questions in your subscribers' profiles, you must email them to us at support@ciklik.co

Once your questions have been added, you will receive a confirmation email from us.

It will be possible to modify or delete the questions if needed.

Step 6: Continue creating your site pages

Go through the navigation menu and the footer of your site.

You need to write your CGV and legal terms.
You need to *configure RGPD services** on your site.
You can create a shop tab to offer products for sale by unit.
You can offer *gift cards**.
You can add a *blog** and bring content to your subscribers

Think of personalizing the content of the transactional emails automatically sent to your subscribers:

Transactional emails automation](/docs/management-forms-and-subscriptions/automation-transactional-emails)
Transactional email template management

Step 7: Request for verification of formulas and activation of the payment module

You are now ready to email us at support@ciklik.co with a request to verify formulas and activate the payment module.

Once this step is validated by the support team, your site is functional and ready to be put online to welcome your first subscribers!

Step 8: Add your site to the Google Search Console

Remember to add your site to the Google Search Console.

Without it, it can take weeks for Google to find your site.

When adding your domain to Google Search Console, a confirmation of domain name ownership will be required. Here, you will need to add a TXT record to the DNS configuration of your domain name. Here's how to do it: add a TXT record to your domain

Launch your first commands

It's time to start working on the Marketing module in order to set up many actions to make yourself known, propose promotional offers and convert a maximum of subscribers!

This is done through **Advertising campaigns** (tracked advertising campaigns).

Browse the rest of our documentation to learn how to create coupons, set up sponsorship, make your releases to your subscribers to invite them to extend the experience and catch your unpaid!

Delivery order management

It's time to ship your first boxes!

You will then have to export your delivery notes for the desired period. To get your bearings right away, you can watch the videos in the Deliveries/Forwarders section of the documentation and in particular the video on [managing your delivery notes] (/docs/managing-shipping/delivery notes).

Customize the unsubscribe tunnel

We strongly recommend that you come and set up the unsubscribe tunnel.

Thanks to this tunnel, you will be able to invite your subscriber when he wants to unsubscribe and invite him to pause his subscription rather than interrupting it.

If they choose to unsubscribe, you can encourage them to stay by offering them a discount on their next payment.

Here is a video on how the unsubscribe tunnel works (/docs/marketing/optimize-subscribing).
