The different error messages
Your card does not support this type of purchase " often indicates that the customer has used a virtual card, i.e. a single transaction. This would explain why it no longer passes. Be aware that these are fairly generic returns, sent by the cardholder's bank, so we have very little information.
Insufficient funds " is linked to an account that does not have the necessary amount at the time of the debit. 3 attempts are made until the 10th of the month, so if you have 3 customers with this problem, 12 transactions with this error may appear.

As for the "card declined ", once again, this is a generic message from the card issuing bank. It can refuse for different reasons (blocked card, no funds on the account, expired card, fraud detection by mistake, etc.).

But since each failure potentially triggers 3 other attempts, 4 CB transactions in error are pushed.
