Revive expired subscriptions

An update has been made: you can perform your exports using the filters added from the list of users, such as selecting customers to resubscribe.

Restart inactive subscriptions

The purpose, for example, is to notify certain subscribers to reactivate their subscription. This can be customers whose subscription is inactive, or whose credit card is about to expire, ...

We are dealing here with the example of subscribers who have an inactive subscription.

You can find the list of people to resubscribe from the Users section in the left column, by selecting the "to be resubscribed" filter. You can then export your file.

Here, we want to notify the customers about their subscription: we therefore isolate the lines of the subscription number column to create a csv file.

Click on Sites then on View and select in the drop-down menu the action "**Check unsubscribed**". Import the file you just created.

A new file is generated with several tabs:

Valid*: these are the subscribers for whom you can send the notification
Call*: these are the subscribers who are on a long term subscription (more than 3 months) and for whom you may want to contact them by phone to propose a more specific offer.
No*: these may be subscribers whose credit card is about to expire and you want to notify them differently

Set up the notification

Once the verification action has been completed, select from the details of your site the action "**Relaunch expired subscriptions**".

Select the file processed after the verification step.

Fill in the reduction amount proposed.

Choose how the subscriber will be notified of this promotional offer to restart their subscription: SMS or email.

In the details of the url, you will be able to find if it is a link from an SMS or an email.

From the destination link of the offer, the person has the possibility to update his bank details and to accept the offer by clicking on the button "**Yes I activate my subscription and I benefit from the offer**". An order is then automatically created, with the delivery of the coupon.

The link is UNIQUE. it cannot be reused several times. the link is valid only once. If they click a second time to get the offer, the link will not work anymore. This is for security reasons.

SMS notification

Link your [Nexmo] account (https://developer.nexmo.com) to your site with the action "**Connect my Nexmo account**" from the action drop down list when you clicked on Sites, then View.

The text used for the SMS contact is the name of your site. Also, if necessary, think of making a modification so that the name of the contact is readable, understandable and not truncated (do not exceed 12 characters).

To limit the content of your message, be sure to use a reduced automatic connection link. To do so, you can use bitly (a tool that allows you to shorten the url).

Email notification

You can enter the text that will be displayed in the body of the email.

This is a transactional email, with a formatting like the one used for order confirmation or account creation emails.

Find this email in the emails contained in the Email Templates section. Be careful not to replace the values at this level.
