# Sent Emails

> Box and PrestaShop
>
> This page applies to both box stores and PrestaShop stores.

The **Settings > Advanced > Sent Emails** menu is the log of the emails Ciklik sends to your customers for your site. Use it to check that an email went out and arrived, or to understand why it failed.

## What the log contains

Each line is an event reported by Mailgun, Ciklik’s sending service. One email therefore produces several lines: one when it is delivered, one for each open, one for each click.

| Column         | Content                     |
| -------------- | --------------------------- |
| **Created At** | Date and time of the event. |
| **Status** | Event type, see below. |
| **Email**      | Recipient address.          |
| **Site** | Site that sent the email. |
| **Subject**    | Email subject.              |

When you open a line (eye icon), you also see:

- **IP**: IP address linked to the event, for example the one of the open;
- **Reason**: the message returned by the recipient’s server, useful for a failure;
- **Location**: city, region and country of the open or click;
- **Mail client**: email software, system and device type.

## Statuses

| Status           | Meaning                                                                                                                                          |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Delivered** | The recipient’s server accepted the email. |
| **Opened** | The email was opened. Some email clients open emails automatically or block this measurement: this status is only indicative. |
| **Clicked** | A link in the email was clicked. |
| **Failed** | The email could not be delivered. The failure can be temporary: Mailgun then retries, and a **Delivered** line may follow. Check the **Reason**. |
| **Rejected** | Mailgun refused to send the email. |
| **Unsubscribed** | The recipient unsubscribed from the email. |
| **Spam** | The recipient reported the email as spam. |

## Find an email

1. Go to **Settings > Advanced > Sent Emails**.

2. Type the customer’s address in the search.

3. Narrow down if needed with the filters: **Created Before**, **Created After**, **Site**, **Objets** (email subject), **Type de boite** (domain of the address, for example `gmail.com`) and **Type** (status). These three filter names are only shown in French.

4. Open the line to read the **Reason** for a failure.

> Note
>
> The log keeps six months of history. Older lines are deleted every day.

The log is read-only: no action lets you resend an email from it.
