# Add your terms and conditions and legal notices

## Writing Your Terms and Conditions and Legal Notices

The content of these pages is specific to your company and your business. Take care to **write and customize** these legal elements accordingly.

We recommend having your Terms and Conditions, Terms of Use, Privacy and Cookie Policy, as well as your Legal Notices reviewed by a legal professional.

## Adding Your Terms and Conditions

A **Conditions Générales de vente** (Terms and Conditions) page (slug `cgv`) is created when your site is installed and linked in the footer. To replace its sample text:

1. Find it in **Content > Pages**.

2. Click on **Edit** and access the **visual editor**.

3. Select the **Markdown** block.

4. Insert your plain text content there.

## Adding Your Legal Notices

We recommend creating a free content page named **Legal Notices**, by going to **Content > Pages**, then **Create Page**.

Your site’s footer already contains a **Mentions Légales** item that points to the page with the `mentions-legales` slug: give this slug to your page, or edit the item to choose your page (**Page** type). The **CGU** (slug `cgu`) and **Charte Cookies** (slug `charte`) items work the same way. > For your legal notices, you can enter “Ciklik, subscription e-commerce solution” as the host, with a hyperlink to the Ciklik website (where the company’s address and contact information are listed).
