# Welcome to Ciklik

Key points

Ciklik is a subscription box platform: the box store is a complete subscription e-commerce site, hosted by Ciklik, with nothing to install. From a single back office, you create your plans (monthly, bi-monthly, prepaid), your custom boxes, your one-off products and your gift cards, then manage subscribers, payments and shipping slips. Your subscribers pay by card via Stripe; card via PayPlug, PayPal and SEPA Direct Debit via GoCardless are available on request to support. Once your site is ready, you run the **Activate My Site** action: the Ciklik team checks your plans and activates payments for your subscribers.

Log in to your Ciklik account using the link below:

Access to the application features is available from the various **sections in the left column**.

You will find a shortcut to the **Ciklik Academy** (Documentation) in the **Settings** section, at the bottom of this column.

You will be **notified of application updates** via the small bell icon in the top right corner.

This is also where you can select your **display mode**: light or dark.

To start customizing your site, expand the **Settings** section at the bottom of the left column, click on **Sites**, then on the **pencil icon** (edit). Your homepage content is edited from **Content > Pages**, on the page of type **Home Page**.

The left menu groups the main sections of the back office:

- **KPI**: your dashboards
- **Sales**: customers, orders, subscriptions, shipments and payments
- **Marketing**: coupons, ad campaigns, unsubscription and retention
- **Subscriptions**: plans, addons and advanced settings
- **Products**: categories, products and customer reviews
- **Content**: pages, menus, boxes and email templates
- **Blog**: posts and post categories
- **Settings**: sites, webhooks, sent emails and your account

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I launch a monthly subscription box with Ciklik?

Yes. The Ciklik box store is a subscription e-commerce site hosted by Ciklik: you create your plans there, Ciklik charges your subscribers at each renewal and schedules the shipping slips for each box.

### Do I need to install software to use the box store?

No. The site and the back office are hosted by Ciklik: you log in to your account at app.ciklik.co and manage everything from the sections of the left column.

### Which payment methods can my subscribers use?

Card via Stripe and, on request to support, card via PayPlug, PayPal and SEPA Direct Debit via GoCardless.

### When can my site welcome its first subscribers?

After the Activate My Site action in Settings > Sites. The Ciklik team then checks your plans and activates payments for your subscribers.

### Where do I edit my site's home page?

In Content > Pages, on the page of type Home Page. The general site settings are in Settings > Sites.
