# First steps

## Securing Access to Your Account

If multiple people need access to the site, you can [add an administrator](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/administration/ajouter-un-administrateur-pour-mon-site/) to your site.

We recommend enabling two-factor authentication to access your Ciklik account to protect your data.

1. Install **Google Authenticator** on your smartphone and open the application.

2. Log in to your Ciklik account and open **Settings > My Account > Two-Factor Authentication** (or **Enable Two-Factor Authentication** in the top right menu), then click to generate a QR code.

3. Scan this QR code with your smartphone.

The two-factor authentication code available in your Google Authenticator app will be required to log in to your Ciklik account.

## Steps to Launch Your Site

1. **Site Configuration**

   Go to the **Settings > Sites** section from the left column, then click on the pencil icon to access your site configuration.

2. **Creating Plans**

   Go to the **Subscriptions > Plans** section to create your plans. See [Create a Plan](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/abonnements/creer-une-formule/).

   Active plans automatically appear on the Subscribe page (URL `/formules`) of your site. A visual editor lets you add free content below the plans, or you can [customize the subscribe page](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/contenu-pages/personnaliser-la-page-s-abonner/).

   If a criterion affects the price of your plans, create **plan groups**. If you need information about your subscribers to build their boxes ([profile questions](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/abonnements/les-questions-de-profil/)), contact support: they are set up by the Ciklik team. Each subscriber’s answers then show in the **Profiles** tab of their customer profile.

3. **Site Customization**

   Customize the visual elements of your site:

   - [Logo](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/personnalisation-site/ajouter-un-logo/) and [banner](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/personnalisation-site/ajouter-une-banniere/)
   - [Colors and fonts](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/personnalisation-site/personnaliser-le-design-de-son-site-couleurs-et-polices/)
   - [Pages](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/contenu-pages/creer-sa-page-d-accueil-et-des-pages-de-contenu-avec-l-editeur-visuel/) and [menus](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/personnalisation-site/gestion-des-menus/)

4. **Carrier Configuration**

   Go to the **Sales > Carriers** section to configure your delivery methods. See [Carriers](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/expeditions/transporteurs/).

5. **Gift Card Configuration**

   If you wish to offer gift cards, create them from the **Products > Products** section. See [Gift card](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/cartes-cadeaux/carte-cadeau/).

6. **Email Customization**

   Remember to customize the content of **transactional emails** automatically sent to your subscribers:

7. **Activating Your Site**

   Open **Settings > Sites** and run the **Activate My Site** action. Enter your site’s **Domain Name**, your company details (**Name**, **Company Address**, **Zip Code**, **City**, **Country**, **Currency**, SIRET, **VAT Liable**), your IBAN, choose your Ciklik **Plan** and accept the terms of sale. You are then redirected to the payment of your Ciklik subscription.

   The Ciklik team is notified of your activation. It checks your plans and enables payments for your subscribers: your site is then ready to welcome your first subscribers. For any question, write to <support@ciklik.co>.

8. **Adding Your Site to Google Search Console**

   Remember to add your site to **Google Search Console**.

   Without this, Google may take weeks to find your site and index it in search results.
