# Taking an order from the control panel

On a PrestaShop store, create the order in PrestaShop: this action creates a Ciklik order without sending anything to your store, and PrestaShop subscriptions have no Ciklik plan. ## Create an order

From a customer’s record (**Sales > Customers > Users**), run the **Create Order** action. You can place an order for:

- a single product;
- a subscription.

### Step 1: General settings

Fill in the **Delivery Address** (which is also the billing address) and choose a **Carrier**. This carrier’s shipping fees apply.

Then choose the **Product Type**: Produit (product) or Abonnement (subscription).

### Step 2: Settings by product type

**Subscription :**

For a subscription, fill in:

- the subscription **Plan**;
- a discount **Coupon**, if needed;
- the profile information, if [profile questions](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/abonnements/les-questions-de-profil/) are defined (**Profiles** field).

**Product :**

For a product, fill in its name, its reference (optional), its price and its tax. The product is not picked from your catalog: it is created for this order.

## Choose the payment method

The **Payment Method** field offers 3 options:

### Marqué comme payé (mark as paid)

The order, its shipping slip(s) and the related invoice are generated without any transaction.

### Facturer l’utilisateur (charge the user)

A charge attempt is made on the customer’s saved payment method. The customer must therefore have one.

### Créer un lien de paiement (create a payment link)

You get a [payment link](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/paiements/les-liens-de-paiement/) to send to the customer. They do not need to log in and complete the order by passing the 3DS check.
