# Modify the next payment date of a subscription

> Tip
>
> You have the ability to **modify the next payment date of a subscription** from the Ciklik back-office.

1. Go to the **Sales > Subscriptions** section and click on the small pencil icon (edit) next to the desired subscription.

   You can also access a customer’s subscription from the detail of their customer profile, after entering their email in the search bar.

2. In the **Next Billing** field, pick the new date in the calendar, then save.

This action allows you to advance or postpone the renewal of a subscription on behalf of a customer.

> Caution
>
> On a PrestaShop subscription, always edit the **Next Billing** field as above. Do not use the **Postpone Payment** action from the actions list: it computes the new date from a Ciklik plan, which a PrestaShop subscription does not have, and the date does not change.
