# Stock forecast

> PrestaShop
>
> This page applies to PrestaShop stores using the Ciklik module. Running a Ciklik box store? [See the box path](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/demarrage/bienvenue-chez-ciklik/).

> Tip
>
> The module’s **Stock Forecast** page tells you, product by product, how many units your renewals will use over a period, and whether your PrestaShop stock is enough.

## Compute a forecast

1. In the PrestaShop back office, open the **Improve > Ciklik** menu, then click **Stock Forecast**.

2. In **Forecast period**, choose the **From** and **To** dates. By default, the period runs from today to 30 days from now.

3. Click **Compute forecast**.

The page needs the module’s **API Token** to read your subscriptions in Ciklik.

## How it is computed

1. The module reads your active subscriptions in Ciklik.
2. It keeps those whose next payment date falls within the chosen period.
3. It adds up the quantities of their products, per product and per combination.
4. It compares the total with the available quantity of each product in PrestaShop.

> Caution
>
> Each subscription counts **only once**, for its next renewal. Over a 90-day period, a monthly subscription counts as one order, not three. Choose a period shorter than your subscription frequency for an accurate forecast.

Products added as upsells to the next order are not counted. The computation covers at most 2,000 active subscriptions.

## Read the result

Four counters at the top of the page:

- **Active subscriptions**: the number of active subscriptions read.
- **Renewals in period**: those whose next payment falls within the period.
- **Distinct products**: the number of rows in the table.
- **Stock alerts**: the number of products with insufficient stock.

The **Stock forecast** table shows one row per product and combination: **Product**, **Combination**, **Quantity needed**, **Current stock**, **Stock after** (current stock minus quantity needed) and **Status**:

- **Insufficient**: stock after renewals is negative.
- **Low**: fewer than 5 units remain.
- **OK**: 5 units or more remain.

Products with an alert come first, then the others by increasing remaining stock. If no subscription renews in the period, the page shows “No renewals planned for this period.”.
