# Skip the next delivery

With the Ciklik module for PrestaShop, a subscriber can skip their next delivery from **My account > Your subscriptions** instead of canceling, once you enable the **Allow skipping the next delivery** option in the module configuration. One click on **Skip next delivery** postpones the next order, and the payment that goes with it, by one cycle of the subscription frequency: one month for a monthly subscription, two months for a subscription every 2 months. The subscription stays active and its next payment date in Ciklik takes the new date. The option is off when the module is installed.

> A subscriber who still has stock can **skip their next delivery** instead of canceling. Their next order, and the payment that goes with it, are postponed by one cycle.

## Enable the option

1. In the PrestaShop back office, open the Ciklik module configuration (**Modules > Module Manager**, then **Configure** on the Ciklik module).

2. Set **Allow skipping the next delivery** to **Yes**. The option is off when the module is installed.

3. Click **Save**.

## What the subscriber sees

In **My account > Your subscriptions**, the **Next order** column shows the **Skip next delivery** link for each active subscription.

One click postpones the next order by one cycle of the subscription frequency: one month for a monthly subscription, two months for a subscription every 2 months. The subscriber sees the message “Your next delivery has been postponed to” followed by the new date.

- The subscription stays active: nothing is canceled.
- The payment follows the order: the subscription’s next payment date in Ciklik takes the new date.
- There is no confirmation: each click postpones one more cycle from the date shown.
- The link does not appear on an inactive subscription.

If the module cannot find the subscription frequency, nothing is changed and the subscriber sees “Unable to determine the subscription frequency.”.

## Difference with changing the date

The **Allow next payment date modification** option lets the subscriber pick any date in a calendar (see [Reschedule the next order date](https://www.ciklik.academy/en/prestashop/gestion-abonnes-prestashop/decaler-la-date-de-prochaine-commande/)). Skipping a delivery moves the date by exactly one cycle, in one click. Both options can be enabled at the same time.

### How do I let a PrestaShop subscriber skip a delivery?
