Customize a subscription from the back office
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Customizable plan subscriptions allow customers to compose their box by choosing their products. As an administrator, you can now modify this composition directly from the back office, bypassing the usual constraints (score, stock, maximum quantity).
This is useful when a customer contacts you to modify their selection and you need to act quickly, even if some products are out of stock or the score doesn’t match exactly.
How to proceed
Section titled “How to proceed”1. Access the subscription detail
Section titled “1. Access the subscription detail”From Subscriptions, click on the relevant customizable subscription.
2. Launch the “Customize subscription” action
Section titled “2. Launch the “Customize subscription” action”In the actions dropdown menu, select “Customize subscription”. A temporary secure link is generated (valid for 1 hour).
3. Modify the composition
Section titled “3. Modify the composition”The composition page opens with an “Admin mode” banner visible at the top. You can then:
- Add or remove products freely
- Exceed the score defined for the plan
- Select out-of-stock products (they are displayed with an “out of stock” badge but remain selectable)
- Exceed maximum quantities per product
4. Save
Section titled “4. Save”Click the save button. A confirmation message appears to validate the save.
Important notes
Section titled “Important notes”- The temporary link expires after 1 hour. After that, relaunch the action to generate a new one.
- Modifications apply to the upcoming shipping boxes of the subscription.
- Admin mode is reserved for users with administration rights on the site.
