Configure the Package Tracking Link

How to Provide a Tracking Link for Your Subscribers’ Boxes?

When you drop off the package with your carrier or logistics provider, they return a tracking number for tracking purposes.

On the Ciklik side, you have a unique number for the shipping slip of the package in question (ship_).

The goal is to create a correspondence between these 2 identifiers.

Step 1: Configure Your Carrier with the Tracking Link

In Sales > Shipments > Carriers, edit the carrier and fill in the URL field with the carrier’s tracking address, replacing the tracking number with @. The Mondial Relay and La Poste carriers created with your site already have a tracking URL.

Step 2: Associate Tracking Number

From Settings > Sites, open your site’s detail and select “Add Tracking Numbers” from the list of actions.

A CSV file without header, with a semicolon as separator, is requested. It contains 2 or 3 columns:

the shipping slip number (ship_...);
the tracking number;
optional: a free text, available in the shipping email through the {*extra*} variable.

Two options are available:

Notify by Email: sends the shipping email to the customer, with the button to track their parcel;
Shipped Status: sets the relevant shipping slips to the Shipped status.

The tracking link (carrier URL, with @ replaced by the number) then appears in the Tracking Link field of the shipping slip.
