Invoices
Your store’s invoices are in Sales > Payments > Invoices. An order’s invoice also appears in the Invoice field of the order details.
Invoice numbering
Section titled “Invoice numbering”Each invoice generated by Ciklik has a sequential number specific to your site, in the format prefix + YYYY-MM-number. The prefix is set in the Invoice Prefix field of your site’s Advanced tab. This number is guaranteed to be duplicate-free, even in the case of simultaneous orders.
If the last issued invoice is deleted, its number is assigned to the next invoice.
Invoices and credit notes
Section titled “Invoices and credit notes”Ciklik automatically distinguishes between invoices and credit notes:
- Invoice: document generated for any order with a positive amount;
- Credit note: document generated automatically when a refund is issued (negative amount).
The PDF document header displays “Invoice” or “Credit Note” as appropriate.
Displayed mentions
Section titled “Displayed mentions”Your invoices automatically display:
- Payment method: credit card, SEPA direct debit or PayPal, depending on the transaction;
- VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the CGI: only if the VAT Liable box of your site’s Advanced tab is unchecked.
Your company information
Section titled “Your company information”The seller block of the invoice (company name, address, SIRET) uses the information from your site’s Social Networks tab.
To add mentions in the invoice footer, go to Settings > Sites, edit your site, Advanced tab, and fill in the Invoices field. For example:
- Company name
- Address, Postal code City
- RCS City SIRET number, company type with share capital of … €
This information is frozen when the invoice is issued: a change only applies to the following invoices.
Export invoices
Section titled “Export invoices”-
Go to Sales > Payments > Invoices.
-
Select the invoices (date filters available).
-
Run the Export Invoices action.
The Excel export gives one line per item (shop product or subscription), not one line per order. The first columns repeat the order totals. For each item:
- the product or subscription identifier;
- the variation identifier, which corresponds to a potential product option;
- the price excluding VAT;
- the VAT amount;
- the applied VAT rate;
- the quantity purchased in the order.
A discount coupon applied to the order creates an additional line. The same applies to shipping costs.
