Offer products with subscription
You can offer subscription purchasing on product detail pages. The customer then selects their quantity and the frequency at which they want to be delivered, then completes their order.
You can add a promotional offer based on the number of products chosen for subscription.
Prerequisite: You must have created your product page. You can refer to the following article: Sell a product individually
Note: When ordering a subscription product, the available shipping methods will be those active for the e-shop.
Configure subscription purchasing from a product page
Section titled “Configure subscription purchasing from a product page”Step 1: Create subscription frequencies
Section titled “Step 1: Create subscription frequencies”Start by creating the subscription frequencies that will be available for subscription purchasing from your product pages. Click on the Subscriptions section in the left column, then Frequencies. Click the Create Frequency button in the top right and fill in the form:
- site selection
- interval: month, week, etc.
- number of cycles: 1, 2, …
For a monthly frequency, enter: monthly interval and 1 cycle. The subscription will renew on the anniversary date, every month.
Step 2: Add subscription frequencies to the product
Section titled “Step 2: Add subscription frequencies to the product”Click on the Products section in the left column from your Ciklik account, then on the small eye icon (view) next to the product you want to offer with subscription.
From the product details, you will find the Frequencies section. Attach up to 3 previously created frequencies to the product.
Step 3: Create a promotional offer based on the number of products chosen for subscription
Section titled “Step 3: Create a promotional offer based on the number of products chosen for subscription”You have the option to offer a discount based on the quantity of products taken with subscription. Example:
- 1 product with subscription = -10%
- 2 products with subscription = -15%
- 3 products with subscription = -20%
This can be a percentage discount or a fixed amount.
To configure such an offer, from the product details, go to the Offers (frequencies) section. Click the Create composable offer button on the right and configure your offer:
- quantity: which product quantity the offer applies to
- price: fill in if you are offering a fixed amount discount
- percentage: fill in if you are offering a percentage discount (enter 20 for 20%)
- active: for the offer to be displayed on your product page
- site: to link the offer to your site
