Offer a custom box with subscription

You can offer your customers the option to compose their own box by selecting the products they want to receive at a given frequency as part of their subscription.

You can configure a promotional offer based on the number of products selected. Example:

• 1 product selected = -10%
• 2 products selected = -15%
• 3 products selected = -20%
• 4 products selected = -25%

The customer selects their products using categories if needed (a product is linked to a category), chooses the frequency at which they want to receive their box, and completes their order.

Prerequisite: You must have created the product pages for products that will be available at the composition step. You can refer to the following article: Sell a product individually

Note: When ordering a subscription product, the available shipping methods will be those active for the e-shop.

Configure a custom box offer

Step 1: Create box subscription frequencies

Start by creating the subscription frequencies that will be available for your custom box. Click on the Subscriptions section in the left column, then Frequencies. Click the Create Frequency button in the top right and fill in the form:

• site selection
• interval: month, week, etc.
• number of cycles: 1, 2, …

For a monthly frequency, enter: monthly interval and 1 cycle. The subscription will renew on the anniversary date, every month.

Step 2: Select products available for box composition

Click on the Products section in the left column from your Ciklik account, then on the small pencil icon next to the product you want to make available during box composition.

Check the Composable box at the bottom of the product settings and save.

The product will then be offered in the custom box.

Step 3: Create a promotional offer based on the number of products added to the box

You have the option to offer a discount based on the quantity of products taken with subscription. Example:

• 1 product with subscription = -10%
• 2 products with subscription = -15%
• 3 products with subscription = -20%

This can be a percentage discount or a fixed amount.

To configure such an offer, click on the Subscriptions section in the left column, then on Composable offers. Click Create composable offer in the top right and fill in the form:

• quantity: which product quantity the offer applies to
• price: fill in if you are offering a fixed amount discount
• percentage: fill in if you are offering a percentage discount (enter 20 for 20%)
• active: for the offer to be displayed on your product page
• site: to link the offer to your site
