Align orders to a day of the month

The “Align to day of month” action allows you to realign all scheduled orders for a subscription to the same day of the month, automatically and in cascade.

This is useful when you want to harmonize a subscriber’s payment dates: for example, grouping all payments on the 1st or 15th of the month.

From Subscriptions, click on the subscription to access its detail.

2. Launch the “Postpone a payment” action

Section titled “2. Launch the “Postpone a payment” action”

In the actions dropdown menu, select “Postpone a payment”.

3. Choose the “Align to day of month” mode

Section titled “3. Choose the “Align to day of month” mode”

In the Mode field, select “Align to day of month”.

Enter the target day (between 1 and 28). The limit of 28 ensures the day exists in every month, including February.

Check the “Shift deliveries” option if you want shipping boxes to be shifted proportionally.

Click “Confirm” to apply the alignment.

The system aligns each order in creation to the next available target day:

  • If the order is before the target day in the same month, it is moved to the target day of the current month.
  • If the order is after the target day (or on the same day), it is moved to the target day of the following month.
