Automatic Payment Setup for Subscribers

Most Common Case

In most cases, you offer monthly or bi-monthly boxes. We recommend configuring monthly box plans as follows:

• automatic payment for all subscribers on the 1st of the month
• billing cutoff on the 10th of the month

In case of payment failure, payment retry attempts will be generated on the 3rd, 7th, and 10th of the month.

Depending on your organization, you can schedule 2 waves of box shipments: on the 1st and 11th of the month.

The recommended setup with a billing start date on the 1st and a billing end date on the 10th properly covers 30 days between two payments (for a monthly plan). The only impact is on the first month of sales - if someone subscribes between the 1st and 10th of month M, they will be charged again on the 1st of month M+1.

Transaction amounts are transferred to your account every 7 rolling days. You can view transfer details in the Transfers module.

Weekly Plan Case

The billing period from the 1st to the 10th can be entered. However, in your plan settings, you should not check the Fixed Period checkbox. The subscriber will then be charged weekly, based on their order date.
