Section titled “Watch the Video”Follow Up on Inactive Subscriptions
Section titled “Follow Up on Inactive Subscriptions”The objective, for example, is to notify certain subscribers to reactivate their subscription. This may include customers whose subscription is inactive, or whose credit card is about to expire, …
Find the list of people to resubscribe from the Users section in the left column, by selecting the “to resubscribe” filter. You can then export your file.
Here, we are looking to notify customers about their subscription: we therefore isolate the rows from the subscription number column to create a CSV file.
Click on My Sites then on View and select from the dropdown menu the action Manage Reactivations.
This single action groups all reactivation management steps. Select the desired mode:
Check eligibility
Section titled “Check eligibility”Choose the Check eligibility mode and import your CSV file. A new file is generated with several tabs:
- Valid: these are the subscribers to whom you can send the notification
- Call: isolated here are subscribers on a long subscription (more than 3 months) and for whom you may want to contact them by phone to offer a more specific deal.
- No: these may be subscribers whose credit card is about to expire and you want to notify them differently
Reactivate subscriptions
Section titled “Reactivate subscriptions”Choose the Reactivate subscriptions mode and import the file processed following the verification step. You can optionally enable the With discount option to offer a coupon (amount and expiration date).
Send campaign
Section titled “Send campaign”Choose the Send campaign mode and import your CSV file.
Enter the discount amount offered.
Choose how the subscriber will be notified of this promotional offer to reactivate their subscription: SMS or email.
From the offer destination link, the person has the ability to update their bank details and accept the offer by clicking the yes I activate my subscription and benefit from the offer button. An order is then automatically created, with the discount coupon applied.
SMS Notification
Section titled “SMS Notification”Link your Nexmo account to your site with the “Connect my Nexmo account” action from the dropdown list of actions when you have clicked on My Sites, then View.
The text used for the SMS contact is your site name. Also, if needed, remember to make a modification so that the contact name is readable, understandable, and not truncated (do not exceed 12 characters).
To limit the content of your message, make sure to use a shortened automatic login link. To do this, you can use bitly (a tool that shortens URLs).
Email Notification
Section titled “Email Notification”You can enter the text that will appear in the email body.
This is a transactional email, with formatting similar to order confirmation or account creation emails.
Find this email in the emails contained in the Email Templates section. Be careful not to replace the values at this level.
